Steve Bernstein serves as Regional Managing Partner over the Tampa offices of Fisher & Phillips LLP, a national labor and employment law firm, where he also co-chairs the firm’s Labor Relations Group.  For the past 35 years, he has maintained a traditional labor practice, representing employers throughout the United States in both state and federal courts, as well as before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and other state and federal agencies.

A significant portion of Steve’s practice is devoted to the implementation of preventive employee relations programs that include supervisory training as well as the development and administration of effective human resources policies and practices.  Steve is also a past member of the Tampa-Hillsborough Planning Commission, while serving on the Foundation Board for Pepin Academies and on the Board of Directors for the Tiger Bay Club of Tampa Bay.  He previously served as Chair of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce, and as President of the Academy of Florida Management Attorneys.
