Greg has over 25 years of experience in global labor and employment issues. He began his career in this area at the McMahon Berger Law firm in St. Louis, MO before joining Emerson in 2004. Greg initially was responsible for union negotiations and employment law matters in the United States. In 2009 his role was expanded to include Asia Pacific, including major changes in the employment law and union landscape in China. He provided insight on various employment related matters, such as work stoppages, strikes, acquisitions and divestures.
After Emerson restructured its Global Human Resources function in 2015, Greg also assumed responsibility for Corporate Human Resources for the Americas. This role included oversight of the Emerson Global Hotline, Global Employee Opinion Surveys and Corporate Communications. In 2019, this role was extended to include Europe and all matters related to the European Works Council. Although his role has expanded in these areas, his real passion is still working with the HR field on employment and labor related matters.
Greg and his family reside is St. Louis, MO where Emerson's World Headquarters is located. He has a B.S. in Finance from Indiana University and received his J.D. from St. Louis University. Greg enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and pickleball.
