Abigail V. Carter is the former General Counsel of the International Union, UAW, which represents over 400,000 active members in both public and private sector industries throughout the United States.  Prior to joining the UAW, Ms. Carter was a member of Bredhoff & Kaiser, PLLC, a labor law firm in Washington, DC that represents clients in a broad range of matters affecting the rights and interests of labor unions and workers. Ms. Carter received her JD, magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School and her A.B. degree from the College of the University of Chicago.
